Wildman Steve Brill has been running foraging classes in New York and the tristate area since the 1980s. We’re happy to announce that Joe Forager from EatThePlanet.org will be co-leading a tour on September 3rd from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in Tarrywile Park, Danbury, CT with Wildman Steve Brill. We are approaching late summer/ early fall which is a great time for wild fruits and nuts. We will be focusing on plants such as crab apple, sheep sorrel, spicebush, mullein and more. The class will run approximately 3 hours. It may be hot so be sure to bring enough water. All participants must wear closed toe shoes and no vaping or smoking is permitted with the foraging group at any time, also Bring a bag if you plan to bring anything home. The cost for this class is a suggested donation of $20 per adult and $10 per child under 12. An option is available for sign-up without donating.
